Type 1
Two-story housing in Peru oriented in the longitudinal axle of the north-south path, rooms with windows located in the same way, so that the sun will not enter directly to the room.
For the solar control parasols were formed in the form of “framework” in the windows. The windows of the dining room are double crystal (air camera between glasses), so the little sun incidence that side receives does not affect the interior.
The walls have a special treatment with insulating thermal material as well as also on the roof, in this way the heat does not affect the house.
Adobe external walls in the first level, that avoid external heat income in summer and escape of warm air in winter.

Solar Chimney:
It consists of a chimney that is painted with a black color. During the day, solar energy heats the air inside it and it starts to rise, creating a current of rising air in the chimney, forcing the air to circulate inside the house. |
